The wharf extensions are nearly finished, and our team have been working hard right through the year to ensure that this project gets finished on time and on budget. The wharf extensions will be a great asset to the Niuean people and the wharf will get a lot of use from various groups within the Niuean community. This project has involved both marine work and topside work. Chiselling out a channel in the hard-coral reef for the large concrete panels to sit in, tying in rebar for the strengthening of the concrete and then pouring the concrete. We have worked with both international and local suppliers throughout this project, and it will be finished in December 2020.
