One of the many jobs that we completed this month was a ship inspection and propeller polish (for the purpose of inspection) alongside at the Port of Tauranga. This inspection means that the vessel can apply for clearance from MPI. Divers are lowered into the water using a man cage. This enables them to simply step out of the cage and into the water safely. When it is time to come back out of the water it is another simple move to step back into the man cage. The photographs and any video logs taken on the hull of the vessel are then uploaded to MPI for assessment. We also load of copy of the photographs/videos/any reports onto our Dropbox system and send the client a link to access these.
